Daikon radishes are the mildest, sweetest radishes around. They have a wonderful watery, juicy crispness--almost like a cross between a classic red radish and a cucumber in texture. They're delicious raw in salads and slaws, plus they make a heck of a pickle!

P.S. - Did you know you can eat the greens too??? Toss them into a soup as a substitute for spinach, or add into whatever sauteed or braised greens dish you're making this week.
