Why Join Tiny Seed Farm’s CSA?

What is the Flex CSA option?

The Flex CSA lets you prepay for farm credit that can be used for weekly CSA shares, online store purchases, and at any of our farmers' markets. You will create an online account and select the items you want for that week.  For convenience, your cart will be automatically filled with a weekly or bi-weekly CSA share based on your subscription level. You’ll have the freedom to customize your cart, add extras, or empty it entirely.

Can I order just the add-ons? 

No. Add-ons are to be added on to your Tiny Seed Farm CSA share but can be separately purchased at many retailers throughout the area or directly through the supplier. 

 

Delivery and Pick-Up Policies

PICK UP LOCATIONS- If a new or old pickup location does not receive enough CSA sign-ups we will consolidate to the nearest location. 

CSA members are responsible for picking up their boxes and add-ons during the designated pick-up hours for their selected location. Specified pick-up sites may offer 24 hour grace periods in the case that a member is unable to pick-up their box. Tiny Seed Farm is not responsible for any items not picked up on the day they were delivered. 

If your items are not collected by the end of pick-up hours or after the grace period (if applicable to your specific site) then your items will be donated. 

* We try to avoid delivery errors to the best of our ability but occasionally, mistakes will happen. If a member does not find their items at the pick-up location or finds an issue with their products please contact us. 

CSA Hold Policy

We will do our best to accommodate a CSA hold during the season. If you plan on missing a week of your CSA, please contact us at least one week in advance to confirm. We can offer an additional week either at the end of the season or the following week (for Biweekly shares), farm credit, or you can choose to donate your items to the North Hills Community Outreach Food Pantry.

* We may not be able to offer multiple CSA holds per season.

Tiny Seed Farm and Fleurs Refund Policy

At Tiny Seed Farm, we strive to provide our CSA members with exceptional service and high-quality produce, flowers, and mushrooms. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.

Notice: Tiny Seed Farm does all it can to ensure a fruitful harvest each year.  All CSA members are committed to sharing in seasonal gains or losses. Certain environmental conditions, such as weather or pests, are beyond Tiny Seed Farm’s control and do not qualify for a refund. 

 Below is our refund policy for CSA memberships:

  • No Refunds After Five Weeks
    • Refunds will not be issued after the fifth week of the CSA season, except in extenuating circumstances.
  • Refunds Before Five Weeks
    • A 45% prorated refund for the weeks not received.
    • A 45% prorated credit toward Tiny Seed Farm Flex CSA/Market Share for the weeks not received.
    • A 10% administrative fee will apply.
    • Members who decide to quit the CSA within the first five weeks of the season will be eligible for:
  • Full Refunds for Extenuating Circumstances
    • Full refunds may be granted under extenuating circumstances, such as unexpected moves or emergencies. These requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will also be prorated for the weeks received, minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • 2025 Flex CSA and/or Market Share
    • The 2025 Flex CSA and/or Market Share must be used by December 31, 2025.
    • Any unused balance will expire on this date and cannot roll over into 2026.
  • Refunds for Individual Items
    • We cannot guarantee refunds for individual items (including add-ons). If there are issues with delivery or your items, we will determine the best way to compensate you for the items on a case-by-case basis. 
  • Refunds for Missed Weeks
    • Members are responsible for picking up their CSA therefore we cannot grant refunds for missed weeks. Please refer to Pick-up Policies for more information.
